Halloween is almost here, and with it comes a flurry of activities, from the annual Día de Muertos festival in La Villita to small-town church pumpkin patches to Milberger Nursery’s legendary Happy Halloween Weekend.
That’s right, one of San Antonio’s favorite suburban garden centers goes out of its way each year to present a slate of free family-friendly fun over the course of two days.
Yes, amid the seasonal flowers, plants, shrubs, and garden art on offer, there’s also the famous hay maze, treat bags, face painting, a balloon artist, festival-worthy snacks, an employee costume contest, a moon bounce, and more.
One annual favorite of note is the Terror Train, which has been up and running all month.
For 2018, the Happy Halloween Weekend falls on October 27th and 28th, with most activities available continuously during regular nursery hours at Milberger’s (3920 North Loop 1604 | Google map it!).
You can learn more, of course, on the nursery’s official website.
