We introduced our readers to the talented Wild Veggie Bouquet‘s Julia Prokhorova last month. You may recall that the Texas designer is known for her imaginative pairings of fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

And we’re still swooning a little over her description of “why” she does what she does:

“What drives me daily is the absolute freedom to express myself through my work. I love to make the beauty of simple things shine. Every single veggie, berry or fruit is beautiful, and I want to show it to you. I begin every day by hand picking ingredients, looking for uniqueness rather than symmetry and perfection.”

For December, Julia has graciously given us permission to share with you the time-lapsed how-to video for her delightful handmade cranberry Christmas ornament. You can find this and other seasonal inspiration on her Instagram feed.

(Look for her Facebook page, too.)
