As 2019 was winding down, we caught word of a new San Antonio bar tucked into a cozy cottage with a stellar reputation for Old World hospitality.

Equal parts refined and rustic, Pastiche (Instagram | Facebook) is the kind of place we love to visit while traveling abroad or simply while winding down on the weekend.

A little Paris-meets-Texas (no, not that one), right here in the Hill Country region, with a cute kitten, too. It’s all just, well, dreamy.

So, from what better place to request a new cocktail recipe, right?

Sure, the holidays are over, but what sense is there in letting NYE have all the fun? And who says hygge has to only be about warm drinks. This is Texas. It’s often warm in the winter. We need to cool off.

Much to our delight, bar manager and partner Benjamin Krick himself sent over a sweet, flower-garnished beverage recipe that you can prepare and serve at home this winter.

Cheers!
